The Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and IMF is pleased to announce a Virtual Parliamentary Briefing on Supporting Countries in Delivering the COVID-19 Vaccines jointly organised with the World Bank Group. The event will take place on 17 February 2021.
The briefing will convene a roundtable of legislators, including the Board of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and IMF (PN) and key parliamentary partners, with World Bank Group senior management and health experts to discuss how to partner to ensure fast and fair delivery of vaccines to people in all countries. Furthermore, participants will be briefed on the World Bank Group’s work to help low- and middle-income countries strengthen systems to implement large scale immunizations. The event will highlight in particular best practices and policies parliamentarians can adopt in their countries to ensure efficient, transparent, and equitable access to vaccines.
