The Global Young MP Initiative convened parliamentarians aged 40 and under around the theme of “Innovations to Eliminate Learning Poverty.” The meeting, co-hosted by the International Parliamentary Network for Education, explored pioneering approaches to modernize education systems to ensure that all chil- dren know how to read and understand a basic text by age 10.
